Get ready for an hour of crafting fun with friends! This monthly program is hosted exclusively for the seniors within the Tangelo Park community as a precursor to their Meals on Wheels delivery.

This program is based on the nationally recognized initiative, Every Child Ready to Read, which helps caregivers and their little ones learn about the five early literacy skills: talking, singing, reading, writing, and playing.

*This event is based on the assumption of fair weather. OCLS reserves the right to cancel the storytime event without notice.

This class is a series, held on the last Wednesday of every month, from 10:00 am to 11:30 am. The sessions will be: January 2026 - Planning and discussing material choices February 2026 - Main Flower March 2026 - Main Flower April 2026 - Main Flower May 2026 - Secondary Flower June 2026 - Secondary.

Designed especially for preschoolers, Storybook Fun lasts approximately 25 minutes. Recommended for children ages 3 to 5. Any person requiring special accommodations to participate in any class or event due to a disability may arrange for accommodations by contacting the location at which the event.

This event will be held at Bill Frederick Park's Education Pavilion. The Education Pavilion is located past the playground, near the fishing dock. The address is 3401 South Hiawassee Road, Orlando, FL 32835. Please note, there is a small entrance fee per car to enter the park. Please visit the City.
